You run a laundry or an ironing shop and you want to know at any moment: how many orders are in the shop, who has not collected clothes that have been ready for a while, how much is still owed, and how much came in this month. The free laundry orders tracker answers those questions from one orders log where you add an order at a time. The template and its page are in Arabic.
The problem it solves
A laundry order goes through several stages: received, washed, ready, handed over, and the customer may pay all of it, part of it, or nothing. With dozens of orders the small things slip: a bag that has sat on the shelf for two weeks while nobody called the owner, a delivered order with money still owing, or an order past its promised date that is still in the wash. The arithmetic is tiring too: pieces times the price of each type, minus what was paid. The sheet does that for every order and flags the ones that need action.
How it works, step by step
- Write your services and the price per piece in the Services sheet.
- In Settings, set today's date (or type =TODAY()) and how many days you wait after the promised date before a ready order counts as a late pickup.
- Add a row per order when you receive it: number, date, customer, phone, service, pieces, promised date and what the customer paid.
- As the order moves on, change its status from the dropdown: washing, ready, delivered.
- The sheet calculates the price, the total, the balance and the days since the promise, and writes the alert.
- Open Follow-up and Summary to read the result.
What each sheet does
- Settings: today's date, the days before "late pickup", and a date inside the month you want summarised.
- Services: your price list, with orders, pieces and value per service. Change a price and every order using it recalculates.
- Orders: the log of all orders. Late pickups are shaded red, late washes yellow.
- Follow-up: ready orders that are late for pickup, oldest first, with phone and balance.
- Summary: orders by status, pieces in the shop, order value, paid and owed, the month's revenue and average order, and the alerts.
A walk-through with the sample data
The names and numbers below are sample data inside the sheet, not real people. Prices per piece: shirt 20, trousers 25, suit 90, dress 70, blanket 100, curtain 60, jacket 60. Today is 1 November 2026, the wait is 7 days, and the summary is for October.
- Heba Fouad: three dresses, total 210, nothing paid. Promised on 14 October and ready, so 18 days have passed: "late pickup", first on the list.
- Noha Galal: four curtains, total 240, fully paid, but ready for 12 days, so she still shows on the list.
- Salma Reda: two jackets, ready, only 4 days past the date, so no alert yet.
- Amgad Zaki: eight shirts still in the wash, two days past the promise: "late wash".
- Laila Ibrahim: two curtains delivered, total 120, paid 60: "delivered with a balance".
Follow-up shows four orders: Heba (18 days), Yasser (15), Noha (12) and Amr (8). The summary counts 15 orders: 5 in the wash, 5 ready and 5 delivered, with 37 pieces in the shop worth 1,510. Late-pickup orders are worth 800 and customers owe 860 in total. October has 13 orders, 47 pieces and 2,010 of revenue, of which customers paid 1,150.
What you get from it
- You know who has not collected without sorting the notebook, so you can call early.
- The order maths is right because the price comes from one list.
- No delivered balance gets lost: it has its own alert.
- It works in Excel 2016 and later, Google Sheets and LibreOffice, free and with no sign-up. It holds 1,500 orders and 50 services.
Using the online version
The template page opens straight on this example. Type in the cells and watch the results change, add an order from a form, and import an .xlsx file or export yours. Your data stays in your browser and is not sent anywhere, so export a copy from time to time.
Who it suits
A laundry, an ironing shop or a small home laundry service where one person records the orders. If you have several branches or several staff entering at once, the sheet is only a start, and Softwiro can build software around the way you work. To follow customer debts in general, also try the customer ledger; for invoices, the sales invoices sheet.
