Intern with the Softwiro team
We build management systems for factories, shops, delivery companies and schools. We are now opening hands-on internships in sales and UI/UX design, and prefer Computer Science and Information Systems graduates.
Open internships
These internships are unpaid. What you gain is hands-on experience on real systems in use.
Sales internship
Learn software sales on the job: present our systems to business owners, understand what they need, and follow through to a signed contract.
What you will do
- Reach owners of factories, shops, delivery companies and schools, and learn how they work.
- Give demos of our systems and explain them in plain words.
- Follow leads through to a contract, and keep a record of every step.
- Bring what customers say back to the development team.
What we are looking for
- Clear, persuasive communication in Arabic; English is a plus.
- Enough technical understanding to explain software to a non-technical owner.
- No previous experience required; software or B2B sales experience is a plus.
- Computer Science and Information Systems graduates are preferred.
UI/UX design internship
Learn on the job by designing the screens of systems people work in all day, in Arabic and English, on web and mobile.
What you will do
- Design management systems for production, inventory, accounting, delivery and education, in Arabic (right to left) and English.
- Learn how the real users work, and simplify the tasks they repeat every day.
- Build and keep up a shared component library (design system).
- Work with the developers until the design ships as designed.
What we are looking for
- Good working knowledge of Figma.
- A portfolio, even if it is personal or course projects.
- A grasp of UX fundamentals and usability testing.
- Experience designing Arabic (RTL) interfaces is a plus.
- Computer Science and Information Systems graduates are preferred.
