ProfAcc — Manufacturing Accounts

A cloud accounting system for manufacturing companies, kept on proper double-entry rather than a ledger of totals. Entries post and periods close; sales invoices carry VAT; inventory balances move with the entries that caused them. A company is provisioned from a Google account in about a minute, and each company's data is isolated behind its own link.

What it changes

Small manufacturers usually run on a spreadsheet until an audit forces a rebuild. Double entry from the first day removes that rebuild.

What it does

The ledger

  • Double entry with automatic posting, and period closing that locks what has been closed.
  • Financial statements are produced from the entries, not assembled separately.

Trading and stock

  • Sales invoices calculate VAT as part of the entry that records them.
  • Inventory balances are live, moving with each posting rather than at a month-end count.

Setup and isolation

  • A company is created from a Google account, with no installation step.
  • Multiple companies are kept apart, each reached through its own link.
