MESwiro — Manufacturing Execution System
A manufacturing execution system for small and mid-sized shops — woodworking, metal fabrication, plastics, assembly — that runs the floor from the work order to the shipment: scheduling, production, quality, stores, purchasing and costing in one system. It is self-hosted, aligned to ISA-95 at the execution level, and deploys with a single command onto hardware a workshop already owns.
What it changes
A small shop is told it must choose between a spreadsheet and an enterprise MES priced per user. This is the third answer: the execution layer a floor actually uses, running on hardware the shop already owns.
What it does
Planning
- Work orders are placed across lines and shifts by drag and drop, in weekly, daily, hourly or monthly views.
- The hourly view is a Gantt at minute-level precision, where an order is resized or moved to another line in place.
- Unscheduled orders sit in a backlog panel, and an overdue one is flagged on the timeline rather than found later.
On the floor
- The operator screen is built for a tablet: one step at a time, in sequence, with actions a gloved hand can hit.
- It installs as an app and keeps working offline, queueing what happened until the network returns.
- An operator reports a problem from the step itself; a critical one halts production and escalates to a supervisor.
Connected, and yours
- Machine data arrives over MQTT, and orders, materials and recipes bulk-load from CSV or Excel with column mapping.
- A REST API and connectors for common ERPs mean it sits beside the system a shop already runs rather than replacing it.
- It is self-hosted: no per-user fee, no locked modules, and the data stays on the shop’s own machine.
